Applying for Abstudy is a process that can be completed online or by mail. Abstudy is an Australian government program that provides financial assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are studying at an approved educational institution. To be eligible for Abstudy, students must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, and be enrolled in a course of study that is at least six months in duration.
