Envy is a feeling of discontent or resentment aroused by someone else’s possessions, qualities, or luck. It can be a destructive emotion, leading to unhappiness, jealousy, and even conflict. Fortunately, there are many things we can do to avoid envy and its negative consequences.
One of the most important things we can do is to be grateful for what we have. When we focus on the positive aspects of our own lives, we are less likely to compare ourselves to others and feel envious. It is also helpful to remember that everyone has their own unique strengths and weaknesses.
