Hyperacidity, also known as acid reflux, is a condition in which the stomach produces too much acid. This can lead to a burning sensation in the chest, pain, and nausea. In severe cases, it can even cause damage to the esophagus.
There are a number of things that can contribute to hyperacidity, including certain foods, drinks, and medications. Some people are also more likely to develop hyperacidity if they have certain medical conditions, such as hiatal hernias or peptic ulcers.
