A Terminal Server license permits a number of customers to entry and use a single server concurrently. This may be useful for companies that want to offer distant entry to their staff or for people who have to entry a number of computer systems from a single location.
There are two principal forms of Terminal Server licenses: per-user licenses and per-device licenses. Per-user licenses permit a single consumer to entry the Terminal Server from any machine, whereas per-device licenses permit any consumer to entry the Terminal Server from a particular machine.
